Co-founder and CEO
Guilherme is a veteran in the broadcast industry. Since 1976, he has held several engineering and management positions in organizations such as Globo (Brazil) and AMPEX (CA).
In 1988, he founded CIS Group, a digital media systems integrator, which continues to be a market leader today, serving the US and Brazil.
As CEO and Co-Founder of GLOOKAST, Guilherme spearheads all growth oriented initiatives focused around solidifying the company’s position as a leading provider of innovative solutions for digital media workflows optimization.
Guilherme holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University Nuno Lisboa in Brazil and a SCPD from Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA.
Head of Business Development (EMEA)
Tom brought to Glookast his global experience working for organizations such as Avid and Sony. Throughout his professional life Tom had key roles in marketing, technical presales, solution architecture and business development. His comprehensive knowledge of acquisition and post production systems as well as extensive experience in developing workflows for the cinema, mainstream production, sports and news markets is second to none.
Tom oversees all the initiatives to continue to expand our sales channel and boost Glookast's presence in all EMEA geographies.
Co-Founder and CFO
As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Marcia oversees all of GLOOKAST's financial and administrative functions, including finance, legal, human resources, manufacturing and logistics.
Marcia brings more than 25 years of business expertise to GLOOKAST, including a vast experience in broadcast industry companies. Prior to GLOOKAST, Marcia served as EVP & CFO of CIS Group Corp a leading digital audio/video systems integration company. Earlier in her career, Marcia held several positions at companies such as GlaxoWellcome and Ampex, where she had a key contribution in company business development, marketing and logistics in the Brazilian market.
Marcia holds a degree in Business Administration from Bennett University in Rio De Janeiro
Director, Pre-Sales & Services
A seasoned industry veteran, Øystein has over 20 years’ experience in the video and broadcast industry spanning Product Management, Sales and Pre-Sales roles. Before joining Glookast, Øystein spent 12 years at Avid focusing on NLE, network storage, asset management workflows for post-production across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Before joining Avid, he held key positions with the professional Pinnacle product line in Scandinavia At Glookast Øystein heads the Pre-Sales and Service team ensuring great customer experiences for our clients across the globe.
Head of Engineering
Orlando leads Glookast’s Core Engineering team which includes media platform and product development. He oversees the European technology and product development team.
Since 2000 Orlando has been involved in investigational work for multimedia and content production. In 2003 he initiated his career as a software development engineer in the media industry. He joined Glookast in 2015.
Orlando holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with focus on Telecommunications, Electronics and Computers Sciences from the University of Porto.
Director of Marketing & Events
Kathy manages GLOOKAST’s channel partners, reseller programs, contracts, marketing activities, and communication.
Kathy has over 20 years’ experience in managing channel partners in the video, audio, client-server software, and manufacturing industries. Kathy background includes developing and delivering world-class programs for various organizations including Avid, Facilis, VMARK, and Autographix. Her expertise includes training, business development, sales, and customer support.
Kathy graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University.
